Stallholders’ Info

The Mapua Easter Fair is a fundraiser for Mapua School and Playcentre, organised and run by volunteer parents and other associated volunteers. The fair is managed by The Mapua Easter Fair Charitable Trust Board.

All proceeds from the Fair will be used by the school and the playcentre for equipment and operating costs.

Stallholder Registration Key Dates 2019

Registration opens: Friday 15th February 2019.

Registration closes: Monday 25th March 2019.

Site confirmations: will be emailed week commencing 7th April 2019.

Late Applications:  After 25th March 2019,  any applications received (and accepted by us) will incur a late fee of $50.  Please note we reserve the right the decline late applications.

Site Fees & Sizes for 2019:

General Goods (locally made crafts, clothing etc) 3 m (front) x 5 m – $60
Imported Goods 3 m (front) x 5m – $85
Food Stalls 3 m (front) x 5 m – $180

4 m (front) x 5 m – $240

5 m (front) x 5 m – $300

Powered Sites $50 per lead extra (you must bring your own extension cords with current test tags and electrical compliance certificates)
Premium Sites – Sites facing the stage $25 per site extra – only to be paid once confirmed
Premium Sites – Corner Sites $25 per site extra – only to be paid once confirmed

How to book your site

Submit an online stallholder application form and provide payment (online banking is our preferred method).  Please pay only for your stall site and your power if you have requested it.  Any premium site charges will be invoiced for once your request for a premium stall site has been confirmed by our volunteers. If you are having trouble completing the form, or have any queries, please email our volunteers at Please note that the stallholder application can be saved at any time and returned to at a later stage.

Important points for 2019

  1. The Mapua Easter Fair 2019 is a zero waste event. We ask that stallholders sell food and/or drinks at the Fair in home compostable or reusable packaging. Commercially compostable packaging is not acceptable. This includes all plates, cups, cup lids, utensils, straws and wrappers.  Examples of acceptable packaging include Sugarcane (bagasse), unbleached napkins, paper bags, cardboard (no lining), potatopak, pine boats, wooden cutlery & paper straws.
  2. Exhibitors booking powered sites must have current electrical compliance certification, and this will be checked at the Fair. If Exhibitors cannot produce current electrical compliance certification to our onsite electrician, then no connection to power leads will be made.

Terms and Conditions

Our terms and conditions are set out here Please read them carefully and ensure you are happy with them before applying. Site fees are strictly non-refundable unless your application is declined. In extreme conditions, the Fair may be cancelled at our discretion and no refunds will be made.
